Ajiri Aki is a Nigerian-American author and entrepreneur focused on French *joie de vivre* and the art of gathering. Her professional philosophy emphasizes celebrating everyday moments. Aki began her career in the New York fashion industry, working as a stylist and editor for publications such as W Magazine, DNR, and Suede Magazine. She later pursued a Master's degree in Decorative Arts, Design, and Material Culture at The Bard Graduate Center, including research in Paris. This academic background led to roles as an Associate Curator at The Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of the City of New York before she relocated to Paris in 2011.
