Yolanda Edwards

Yolanda Edwards is an American writer, editor, and media executive with a distinguished career in travel journalism. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied comparative literature, Edwards began her career as a junior photo editor at *Condé Nast Traveler*. This initial role helped shape her visually-driven approach to travel content, a style she further developed through key editorial positions, including photo editor at *W magazine*, travel and lifestyle editor at *Cookie magazine*, and executive editor at *Martha Stewart Living*. Edwards returned to *Condé Nast Traveler* in 2013, serving as its Creative Director for five years until 2018. After leaving Condé Nast, Edwards founded *Yolo Journal* in 2018, a quarterly print publication dedicated to travel, where she also serves as publisher. Through *Yolo Journal* and its sister website, Yolo Intel, she features photography, insider stories, and personal travel tips, emphasizing timeless narratives and authentic experiences.
