As a storyteller and adventurer, I've spent the last decade traversing the globe, seeking out the unexplored corners of our planet alongside my wife, Audrey. Together, we are Uncornered Market, a platform dedicated to inspiring respectful travel that connects adventure with a deep appreciation for our world and its people. My journey into the world of travel began later in life, at the age of 26, with a solo trip to India. That experience opened my eyes to a world beyond anything I had ever imagined. Although I fell ill with dengue fever, I recovered with an unyielding desire to explore and share the stories of the people and places I encountered. Based in Berlin, Audrey and I have journeyed through over 90 countries, always striving to humanize the destinations we visit. Through our photographs and narratives, we aim to foster connections with communities and cultures that might otherwise be overlooked. We believe that travel has the power to change perspectives, challenge stereotypes, and promote mutual understanding in an increasingly complex world. Our work extends beyond storytelling. As tourism advisors, we collaborate with tourism boards, DMOs, and organizations like USAID and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), helping them to develop sustainable and innovative travel experiences. We are committed to communicating the importance of responsible tourism in a way that is accessible and engaging for everyone. Whether speaking at conferences like UNWTO Tourism and the Media or working directly with local communities, our goal is to promote travel as a force for good.
