Based in World
I'm Manoj Radhakrishnan, a travel blogger and photographer with a passion for capturing the world's beauty since 1999. My journey began in South India in 1976, and after spending years in academia, earning degrees from IIT Madras and the University of Maryland, I found my true calling in travel. Together with my wife, Aparna Krishnamurthy, we've explored countless destinations, documenting our adventures through vivid photographs and detailed travel journals. Based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, I focus on providing valuable insights and recommendations for planning your own trips. I'm not a travel agent, but rather a fellow traveler eager to share my experiences and inspire others to embark on their own adventures. My blog, Travel Notes, is a collection of our photo travel journals, offering a wealth of information and stunning visuals for non-commercial use. I believe that short-term travel offers unique advantages: freedom from boredom, a break from routine, and the excitement of discovering new cultures. Whether it's wandering through the serene temples of Kyoto, trekking in the Himalayas, or exploring the vibrant streets of Hong Kong, I aim to capture the essence of each destination through my lens. My trusty Canon DSLR cameras, Kodak film, and an array of lenses and filters have been my companions on this incredible journey. Join me as we continue to explore the globe, one photograph and one story at a time.
