As a travel blogger, I'm passionate about inspiring families to explore the world, proving that adventures don't have to stop when you have kids. My journey began when I realized there weren't many voices in the family travel space that reflected my own experiences as a Black parent. I wanted to show other families, especially those from diverse backgrounds, that travel is possible, affordable, and incredibly enriching. I believe in immersing ourselves in the local culture, trying new foods, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it's navigating the bustling streets of Rio de Janeiro or discovering hidden gems in our own backyard, I'm always seeking out unique and authentic experiences. My motto is "if kids live there, kids can visit," and I take that to heart. I love visiting destinations that most don't consider kid-friendly. Through my blog, I share tips on affording travel, detailed itineraries, and personal stories to make the planning process easier for other families. I've partnered with brands such as American Express, Visit California, and Amazon, turning my passion into a thriving business. I also authored a children's book series, "The Traveling Child Goes to," to diversify the bookshelves and inspire young readers to see themselves as explorers.
